Performance-Art

Häller finds his search and need for individual expression in painting and as a performer. Memories, thoughts, people, emotions and pieces of music characterize the content of his performances.

"I am good at expressing myself as a performer and it suits me." The audience plays an important role. There is an exchange between performer and audience and an interaction is created.

Häller scratches at the boundaries, but does not cross them. Actions such as overhead hanging in Giswil or hauling stones (Aarau) require intensive preparation: dealing with the space, environment and physical training. Häller says: "Performing is work, hard work."
After 20 years of dealing with the subject and working as a performer, changes are taking place. The performances become quieter, calmer, more reduced in their action and use of materials. The mental and physical presence and the high level of concentration become more visible and perceptible.
